Although fun with its chololate sented flowers, I find this plant rangy. This year I'm trying it interplanted with Guara, another somewhat rangy plant. Perhaps together they will fill each other in.

It looks great early in the day and then fades. I think if I had lots of them I could smell it better.I like the idea of a plant that will bloom for months with little water or TLC so I will keep it.

If I planted these for just flowers i would be disappointed, though they do flower well they are leggy and the blossoms close every afternoon. But to walk through your garden and have the fragrance of chocolate wafting through the air I will take the rangy plant. I mix it in with other perennials and enjoy the scent.
